What does a typical telehealth appointment look like?Think of me as your personal healthcare provider! Chose between a scheduled video for a longer talk or an on demand text for a quick question or need. After a short registration and history form is completed you can set your appointment time. If the text option is chosen I will contact you to set a good time to chat. Appointments are up to 15 minutes for general health issues and up to 30 minutes for educational visits (general wellness plans, family planning, pregnancy education and infertility counseling). Following the appointment you will receive a transcript of our appointment. Prescriptions or labs will be sent electronically immediately after the appointment.
-
What type of service do I use when?I recommend a video visit for new patients, educational appointments, or if you have several questions. For a minor concern, follow up, or prescription request, a text may be easier for you. A text visit can always be changed to video if needed.
-
What are your typical response times when booking an appointment? If you schedule a video visit I will see you on time, at that time. For on demand text requests I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible, most often within 2 hours.
-
What if I don't see a service listed but think you could likely help? There are several healthcare needs I can help with that are not listed on the site Feel free to go ahead and schedule or send me a message on this website before booking.
-
What is Azova and why do I need to book through their site?Azova is a HIPPA secure telemedicine platform that allows me to privately get in touch with you and electronically send prescriptions and labs if needed.
-
Can I get a same day appointment? Most often there are appointments available. If you don't see a time available please send me a request and I will do my best to accomodate you!
-
I just had a video chat with you but have a follow up question the next day, what do I do?"Not a problem! Send me a message through this website chat. I will let you know if you need another appointment.
-
What type of payment is accepted?I currently accept credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex) and HSA/FLEX spending cards. This allows me to keep affordable pricing and focus on patient care. I am happy to provide a receipt for insurance reimbursement.
-
Do you accept insurance? Not at this time. I accept credit cards, HSA/FLEX spending cards as payment to keep prices low and focus and patient care.
-
Do you have full practice authority?Yes! Full practice authority means I am able to practice without a supervising physician. This includes writing prescriptions, and ordering/interpreting labs and diagnostic procedures.
-
Do you work with a Physician?I operate my practice independently, however, I have a large network of some of the best physicians and healthcare providers in Illinois. I will happily refer you to the appropriate provider if needed.
-
What states do you provide telehealth services in?Currently I am only licensed in Illinois but I am in the process of obtaining licensure in additional states. I also support the APRN compact which will allow nurse practitioners to practice across state lines. More to come...
